The new anberlin album is quite wonderful! The term above is the title to one of the tracks. In the chorus of the song they say "There's more to living than being alive" it’s true, there is so much more to life than just being. Life a lot of times is what we make it, exciting, sad, frustrating, serious, and so on. SO LIVE

But with that point I must also say that we must also follow God, keeping Him at the centers of our lives. This is something that comes through discipline in prayer and studying the Word. I know that doesn't seem like fun, but there is true joy in it. I wish that it wasn’t so hard for me to maintain this relationship; I'm always being pulled from so many directions I don't know where to give and where to take. God too often gets that short end of the stick, when He deserves to have it all.

The precepts of the LORD are right,
       giving joy to the heart.
       The commands of the LORD are radiant,
       giving light to the eyes.

What a crazy week this has been, clinicals getting cancelled, snow storms, tests and drama!! But God is always gracious, He gives me enough each morning to get through the day and I can't ever forget that. The best way I have found is by conisistantly staying in the Word and praying, and not just talking to God, but passionate prayer from the heart. I have to praise Him for all of his blessings! I thank God that the Colts won the Super Bowl, it was amazing and especially for Tony Dungy, a great Christian man.

So, the Colts are going to the superbowl...that's amazing :)

While as exciting as that may be, life can still be a struggle at times, being close to God, staying up with school work, sleep, and friends. It all takes part of your time away and a lot of times God gets the short end of the stick. It's not right, but I do it a lot. It is time for a change, and this is exactly where it needs to start.
